Come and learn to surf in the warm waters of Barbados, with Smiley's Surf Shop located right above Drill Hall (Brandons) and Pebbles beach.

We teach you safety in and around the water, and how to catch waves and stand up wtih one lesson. With our ISA qualified Surf Instructors and beach lifeguards.

With our store being the newest on the island all our equipment is brand new, and will be regularly changed so you know you're getting the best equipment for your activity, it is important to get the right equipment to help you either improve or learn, the basics so you can excel in the activity, and have fun at the same time. With our small group policy you will gain feedback straight away to get you on the wave that will make you smile for the rest of the day.

This surf shop is run by second and third generation surfers with a wealth of experience. We cater from beginner lessons to intermediate as well as offering coaching for more experienced riders, or if you want to hire a guide to show you the best waves on the island, for the day or day's, as well as a lesson to suite you. If it's the thrill of getting a good barrel, or just learning how to stand up and ride the wave, we aim to get you there on your first lesson by taking you to the best spot for you on the  island for that day and your particular level of surfing.

We encourage people to be honest about their abilities in the water so we can arrange the right amount of support making sure everyone can have fun while being safe. We only offer a max of 4 to 5 people per instructor so you get more from your lesson and with each lesson you can keep the board until 3:30pm to keep practicing with no extra charge.
